My philosophy is that everyone is capable of brilliant improvisation. The brilliance occurs when we bring honest, grounded characters to our work and are able to stop self-judgement. I help clients feel confident to explore the unknown, to gain a deeper understanding of their character's world, and to allow for organic discoveries.
I have been teaching and performing improv for over 20 years. I began my career in Denver, where I taught and performed for numerous theaters. I've gone on to teach and perform in cities throughout the United States and internationally. I currently reside in Los Angeles, and offer remote coaching to accommodate actors on location and in various time zones.
I have taught for the Denver Center for Performing Arts, University of Denver, Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School, and Toi Poneke in New Zealand. I specialize in coaching actors working in film and TV, and bring experience working on major motion pictures and TV series.
